Point Lobos, CA - 1961 to 1964
Point Lobos along the California coast line is one of the most beautiful and photographed stretches of coastline
in the United States. In the 1960's I made several visits to take photographs of the dramatic rock formations. These were subsequently printed as small black and white silver gelitan prints on Ilford Protrega Rapid papers.

Byron Hot Springs, CA - 1962-65
Byron Hot Springs was a plush turn of the century hot spring resort in the California Valley known worldwide. Then in the
1930's the resort went bankrupt and was closed down until the 1940's when the US Navy took it over temporarily as an
internment camp for German sailor prisoners of war.
After the war the facility was again abondoned and I discovered it
in early 1960's and made a series of black and white photographs concentrating on the fascinating history.

White Sands, NM - 1972
White Sand National Monument is one of the more spectacular national preserves in the US. It features
flowing sand dunes that catch the morning and afternoon light in remarkable patterns. While a graduate student
in AlberquerqueI I visited this site several times in the 1970's to capture it's remarkable beauty. These were
subsequently printed as small black and white silver gelitan prints at 8x10 and 11x14 sizes.
